Mr.H who are very important person for me to start Antique business visited our shop.  He and his family moved to Vancouver and live in the beautiful oceanfromt house.  I asked him to send some photos of their interior design and we could enjoy them very much!!

Please look it, they builted the Japanese Old Shoji doors of 'Shoin' into the wall above the stairs.  It's fantastic decoration  I think it is much nicer than hanging the pictures

We are so happy to know that they will build a new house and they need some ideas of interior decoration using Japanese Antique for it.  They are interested in using 'Kurado' for the entrance door and some nice items.

Thank you visiting our shop, Mr.H!!  It should be exciting project for us

階段の窓に設置した書院窓の障子戸がモダンな空間に調和しています。　私のHPでインテリアコーディネートの数々を紹介しているのを見て、新しく建てる家のためにアイデアを出してほしいとのこと　さらに素晴らしいアイデアを出せるかどうか心配ですが・・・　　頑張ります

蔵戸を利用したエントランスやテーブル等々　一点モノを製作しバンクーバーへ送ることに　大変だけど楽しいプロジェクトになりそうです。

Cookwares are very important !  I've been searching for a nice pressure cooker since my friend made an excellent Lamb Shank Wine Stew for my family.  Then finally, I got one!!  I had tried many other types from all over the world, but this one, one from the Fissler, made in Germany, is the best    It is already a necessary cookware for my gourmet life.  Everything is perfectly made, we don't have to be irritated by the imperfect lid, or  there is no worry about leaking of the air.  Moreover, it is with the 15-year warranty!!  ------- As if jumping into a winner-take -all battle, I bought both 6 litre and 2,5 litre types.  It is also very nice for the Japanese cooking.  Rice cooked with this Fissler pressure cooker is soft, yet chewy --- far better than made with rice cooker!!  I am not an agent of Fissler, but wanted to tell you how happy I am.

友人宅で圧力鍋で調理したラムシャンクのワイン煮込みをご馳走してもらってから、頭の中は圧力鍋のことでいっぱい・・・。そしてたどり着いたのが、これ

今まで色々試してみましたが、蓋がうまく閉まらなかったり、圧がどこかで漏れてしまったり、とトラブル続きでしたが、さすがドイツ製。　キッチリしています。しかも15年保証

思い切って、サイズも6リットルと2.5リットルの2種を同時購入　やる気満々　

御飯を炊きながら、横で和風のお惣菜を横でコトコト　　あ～～、幸せ

しかも、炊いたご飯がモチモチで、香りも良し！！

圧力鍋はフィスラー！！一押しです。（まわし者ではありませんので・・・念の為）

I would like to introduce you a great Tantanmen of our neighborhood restaurant, "Asano."  It takes only 1 minute from our shop to get Asano.  Very fortunately, I might have become a regular customer there that I don't have to tell my choice of menu any more.  When I go there at lunch time, it's automatically served, with rice.  I become wordless with happiness when I put the spicy Sichuan minced meat on the rice!!  This is too delicious!  Also recommend: Spicy Beancurd with Minced Meat, and Iced Almond Beancurd for the desert

お店から歩いて1分今日のように寒い日はお店を抜け出してついつい出かけてしまいます。（というか年間通してお世話になってます）

早速出てきた大盛りご飯付き

ちょっとお恥ずかしいのですが、麺の上にのっている辛味噌のそぼろをご飯の上にかけていただいちゃいます

お昼頃、お店に「すぐ戻ります」の張り紙がしてあったら浅野にランチにいったな？　と思ってくださいませ。

It's been freezing in Tokyo this year.  But today, February 1, the temperature is just a little bit higher than yesterday.  According to the Chinese calender, February is already in spring.  I began to think about happy, warm spring time, especially about the Hina Dolls for the Girl's Festival.   

I wanted to tell you about the "Ittobori (literally---carved by one chisel,)" traditional handicraft of Nara Prefecture.  I love Ittobori Dolls.  The touch is bold, but at the same time, incredibly delicate. Although these Hina dolls are not so old, the history of Ittobori is very long since 12C..  Our HIna dolls are also good to be hung on the wall.  I want you to look at their elegance on the face.  The greatest entertainment in Japan is to take the seasonal occasion into the arrangement of our daily life.  Why don't we enjoy preparing for our beautiful spring?

寒～い日が続いた後に、今日のようなほんの少しでも暖かさが感じられる陽気になると、春がすぐそこにあるような気がしてしまいます。今日から2月であと少しで暦の上では春、なんて言われるとますます春モードに・・・。

今日は変わった雛人形を一つ紹介させていただきますね　奈良の一刀彫の雛人形。こうして皿立に立てても良し、壁に掛けても良し。　さほど古いものではありませんがなんとも風情のあるお顔をしています。　

さすがに大人になると雛祭、という感じでお祝いすることはありませんが、雛人形を愛でる気持ちはいつまでも持っていたいですね
