I already wrote that we went to the Lake Yamanaka the other day.  As we checked the Tourist Bureau of Lake Yamanaka before going there, there was an information about the Diamond-Fuji ----- we can see the Diamond Fuji, which means that, from the Lake Yamanaka only in this time of season, we can see the sun setting on the very top of Mt. Fuji, and the sun shines just like a diamond.  I was eager to watch this!!  So I went to the lake-side carrying the camera. . . there, so many seemingly professional nature cameramen stood by with their full equipments at the best positions.  I, feeling somewhat small, gave up the best position to these nature cameramen, but tried to take my BEST SHOT!!   Actually, I waited and waited for this very moment so long, but it was just in an instant.  I learned that everybody aspires after Diamond-Fuji because it's so precious an event of a brief moment.

当日の天気などを事前に調べるため山中湖観光協会のホームページをチェックしていると

この時期、富士山山頂に太陽が沈む「ダイヤモンド富士」を見ることが出来ると書いてあるではないですか

これは見なければと思い、撮影の合間にちょいと休憩を兼ねて湖畔へGO

すでに多くの方が集まっています。ベストポジションには自然現象撮影マニアがズラリと陣取っていましたので、彼らに遠慮しつつ、やや外れた場所でパチリ

待ち時間の割にはほんの一瞬の出来事でしたがそこがまた良いのですね。

We went to the Lake Yamanaka area to arrange the interior decoration of a mountain house. It took so long to finish until nightfall, but luckily, we could watch the lighted up autumn leaves.

It was very cold out there, but we enjoyed the crisp air and tasty autumn leaves.

昨日はインテリアコーディネートの撮影で山中湖の山荘へ終日出張

この日は天気も良く昼間の紅葉も十分満喫出来たのですが、準備と撮影に時間がかかり、結局日が暮れるまで滞在。しかし、そのおかげでライトアップされた紅葉も見ることが出来ました。

１４日まで限定のライトアップだそうです。

さすがに夜は冷え込みますがこの日は風も穏やかで美しい夜の紅葉を楽しむことが出来ました。　

This is a beautiful  park which is located just 15 minutes drive from our home.  We can view Tokyo Tower, the Rainbow Bridge, and other popular Tokyo tour destinations.    We had BBQ with our family friends there today.  We all enjoyed a great weather and rich view.

先日、友人達とBBQを楽しんできました。自宅からクルマで15分程度ですが、ご覧のようにキレイに整備された広い公園。レインボーブリッジ、東京タワー。　人気のスポットが良く見えます。

天気が良く、風も穏やか。　絶好のBBQ日和　

とてもリラックスした休日でした。

The teperature marked the coldest of the season in this morning.  So we expected the blaze of autumn leaves on our way to the auction held in the Tokyo suburbs.    As you can see, there were no red leaves, but it was OK, since we had a gorgeous sunshine and fresh breeze instead.   Mt. Fuji was beautiful with a dash of white snow. . .

Today, we got ----------  Very Sturdy Kyoto Ikken Kitchen Cabinet ( 181cm width cabinet,)  Elegant Lacquered Hibachi from Kyoto,  Imari Polychrome Bowls (set of three,)  Plate Stands (for displaying plates,)   Black Lacquered Merchant Chest with the Black Iron Work,  A Pair of Small Chest of Many Drawers, and etc.  Please find good and useful things!!!

今朝は一番の冷え込みでしたが、快晴でとても気持ちが良い一日でした。　

郊外まではりきって仕入れに

いつもなら道すがら紅葉見物となるのですが、今年は少し遅れているようです。　ご覧のように木々の色づきはほとんどなし。

しかし、一面、雲ひとつない快晴　　

とりあえずネタにしようとパチリ

本当は富士山がキレイだったので撮影をしたのですが、クルマの中からシャッターを押したので思いっきりピンボケ　　とほほ・・・・・・・・・。

うっすら雪化粧の富士山は別の機会にいたします。

一間の京水屋箪笥（ガッシリしたフレームで状態抜群　）　塗火鉢（京都の上品なお品どす～）

伊万里色絵三つ組鉢（小さめで使いやすそう）　皿立て（コレクションを飾るのに必須アイテム）　二段重ね帳場箪笥（本体は黒漆仕上げ、金具も黒、男前でカッコいい　仕上げ後が楽しみ）　抽斗沢山の小箪笥（ペアの箪笥です。ベッドサイドに良いかも・・・・）

箪笥の金具は多種多様。　ジ～と見ているとなんだかヘンテコなモノに見えてくる場合が・・・

Have you seen the Harvest Moon, last night?  Every year, we anticipate watching the solemn and graceful full moon around Autumn Equinox. Since the weather changed for worse in the afternoon, I was in a hurry to take a shot. I admire the beautiful combination of Tokyo Tower and the Full Moon.  I found a clip of " Sky Tree and the Moon" on the internet, but I think it isn't quite charming. . .

I took a monumental shot of Full Moon just on the top of the Tokyo Tower in 2008.  Please look here.

昨夜は満月。　皆さんご覧になりましたか？

夕方から天気が下り坂でしたので、急いでシャッターを切りました。

東京タワーと満月　なんとも美しい取り合わせです。

昨日、ネット上にはスカイツリーと満月の画像が掲載されていましたが・・・。

どうもイマイチですね。

2008年には東京タワーのてっぺんにちょうど満月が刺さったような決定的瞬間を撮ることができました。

We went to a town of Saku in Nagano prefecture.  While the temperature rose up to 35℃ in Tokyo, it was pleasantly cool and we could feel a fresh air there.  Despite a long spell of heat this summer, I could even find the beginning of harvest season in the fields.  It was like I finally got a glimpse of autumn.  I've felt very lonely in September every year, after the excitement of summer vacation.  But this year, I found myself longing for the autumn breeze.  Well, I was recharged very much.  We are going to have a real autumn soon . . .I hope.  Let's enjoy fresh and clear air together!

先日、長野県の佐久へ行って参りました。この日の東京の最高気温は35℃だったのですが、こちらでは気持ちの良い秋の空気を感じることができました　長く続いた猛暑の中でも、田畑ではちゃんと秋の実りがみられます。　

いったいいつになったら涼しくなるのかな～？と気を揉んでいましたが、ようやく一息つけそうですね

9月といえば、夏休みを終えて、秋風を感じるとなんだか寂しくなってしまい、 嫌な気分になっていたものでした。　猛暑が続くと待ち焦がれてしまうものなのですね。　

さぁ、これからが秋本番澄んだ空気を思い切り楽しみましょう

Intense heat in Japan doesn't seem to stop.  Probably it's not only I but many of you must be wondering if Autumn is really approaching.  We hardly feel even a slightest sign of Autumn.  I quoted a famous Japanese song for schoolchildren, " We found a small autumn," for today's title, in hope of finding a sign of autumn.  But wait!!! 

We have a wonderful Lacquered Box for Tea Ceremony with the Makie Picture of Autumn Plants.  When I was taking the Tea class, it was a great pleasure to find the items which would be used in the ceremony, anticipating the following season. 

ずっと夏のままなのかな、と心配になってしまうのは私だけでしょうか？？

秋の気配を感じようと、夕暮れ時に虫の声を聞こうと外へ出てみたり、鰯雲が出ていないか空を仰いだり、無理やり秋を見つけようとしてしまいます。

あった、あった、秋を感じる一品

秋草蒔絵の茶箱。　お茶を習っていた頃、茶箱・茶籠が大好きで自分で見立てては色々なものを集めては楽しんだものでした。　季節を先取りして道具を揃える気持ち、今年は特にわかるような気がします・・・・・・

まだまだこんな秋草が見られる日は遠いように思いますが、気持ちの良い風を感じられるまであと少し、頑張りましょう

Unusually, we had the gorgeous weather during the "Golden Week" in Japan.  However, we had too many rainy days in this May after the GW, it is like the rainy season had begun already.  Every year, I always bought blue hydrangea in the rainy season to brighten up our melancholy feelings.  And I bought it already this year.  The Stone Frogs in the picture may remind us of raining, , , it looks as if I look forward to the rain, but no, I don't like the rainy season. I wish we 'll have many sunny days until the true rainy season.

今年のゴールデンウィークは珍しく毎日良いお天気だったのに、その後は気温の上下が激しく、雨も多くまるで梅雨のよう・・・。　五月晴れが大好きなのに、は長く続きませんね。

うっとうしさを、少しでも和らげるために毎年ブルーの紫陽花を梅雨時に買ったりしていますが、今年は一足早く購入してしまいました。　にはやはり蛙　（なんだか梅雨を待ち望んでいるかのようなとりあわせですが・・・・）

もうすぐ本格的な梅雨が到来します。少しでも良いが続きますように・・・。
