A Small Autumn / 小さい秋見つけた♪
Intense heat in Japan doesn't seem to stop. Probably it's not only I but many of you must be wondering if Autumn is really approaching. We hardly feel even a slightest sign of Autumn. I quoted a famous Japanese song for schoolchildren, " We found a small autumn," for today's title, in hope of finding a sign of autumn. But wait!!!
We have a wonderful Lacquered Box for Tea Ceremony with the Makie Picture of Autumn Plants. When I was taking the Tea class, it was a great pleasure to find the items which would be used in the ceremony, anticipating the following season. 
ずっと夏のままなのかな、と心配になってしまうのは私だけでしょうか？？
秋の気配を感じようと、夕暮れ時に虫の声を聞こうと外へ出てみたり、鰯雲が出ていないか空を仰いだり、無理やり秋を見つけようとしてしまいます。

あった、あった、秋を感じる一品
秋草蒔絵の茶箱。 お茶を習っていた頃、茶箱・茶籠が大好きで自分で見立てては色々なものを集めては楽しんだものでした。 季節を先取りして道具を揃える気持ち、今年は特にわかるような気がします・・・・・・
まだまだこんな秋草が見られる日は遠いように思いますが、気持ちの良い風を感じられるまであと少し、頑張りましょう
