I like bread, and am happy to go to the bakery even if it is a bit far from here.  My Friend, M, bakes so delicious bread almost everyday.  She says 'It is my hobby'....BUT I think it is the best bread I have ever eaten.  I think it is beyond hobby.   She bakes any kind of bread using wild yeast present.  The more I chew, the better It tastes 

She has time to bake much of bread for now, so I recommend her to sell it by internet to make more people happy. I'm sure I will be a frequent customer. Please wait. I will make a move to start it and introduce her website soon!!

圧力鍋で炊くお米も魅力的ですが、美味しいパンに近頃病みつきです。　というのも友人が焼く手作りパン　本当に美味しい　天然酵母を使って、様々な種類を作り、どれを食べても香ばしくて中はしっとり噛めば噛むほどじわ～っと美味しさがあふれ出す　そして、なにより素晴らしいのはパンを語る彼女の表情ががとても輝いているということ。

今、彼女に、「定期的に売って」と交渉中　「ネット販売したら？」と　たきつけたりして・・・

（いつの日にか皆様に紹介出来れば・・・・と本人の承諾なきまま真剣に企画中。）

彼女曰く、「まだ趣味の段階です」などと言っていますが、人を幸せにする趣味って素晴らしいですよね～

大蔵オリエンタルアート

Cookwares are very important !  I've been searching for a nice pressure cooker since my friend made an excellent Lamb Shank Wine Stew for my family.  Then finally, I got one!!  I had tried many other types from all over the world, but this one, one from the Fissler, made in Germany, is the best    It is already a necessary cookware for my gourmet life.  Everything is perfectly made, we don't have to be irritated by the imperfect lid, or  there is no worry about leaking of the air.  Moreover, it is with the 15-year warranty!!  ------- As if jumping into a winner-take -all battle, I bought both 6 litre and 2,5 litre types.  It is also very nice for the Japanese cooking.  Rice cooked with this Fissler pressure cooker is soft, yet chewy --- far better than made with rice cooker!!  I am not an agent of Fissler, but wanted to tell you how happy I am.

今まで色々試してみましたが、蓋がうまく閉まらなかったり、圧がどこかで漏れてしまったり、とトラブル続きでしたが、さすがドイツ製。　キッチリしています。しかも15年保証

思い切って、サイズも6リットルと2.5リットルの2種を同時購入　やる気満々　

御飯を炊きながら、横で和風のお惣菜を横でコトコト　　あ～～、幸せ

しかも、炊いたご飯がモチモチで、香りも良し！！

圧力鍋はフィスラー！！一押しです。（まわし者ではありませんので・・・念の為）

I would like to introduce you a great Tantanmen of our neighborhood restaurant, "Asano."  It takes only 1 minute from our shop to get Asano.  Very fortunately, I might have become a regular customer there that I don't have to tell my choice of menu any more.  When I go there at lunch time, it's automatically served, with rice.  I become wordless with happiness when I put the spicy Sichuan minced meat on the rice!!  This is too delicious!  Also recommend: Spicy Beancurd with Minced Meat, and Iced Almond Beancurd for the desert

お店から歩いて1分今日のように寒い日はお店を抜け出してついつい出かけてしまいます。（というか年間通してお世話になってます）

ちょっとお恥ずかしいのですが、麺の上にのっている辛味噌のそぼろをご飯の上にかけていただいちゃいます

”美味しいんだな～これが・・・・

お昼頃、お店に「すぐ戻ります」の張り紙がしてあったら浅野にランチにいったな？　と思ってくださいませ。　

ホントにすぐ戻りますのでゴメンなさい

追加情報・・・麻婆豆腐、デザートの杏仁豆腐も絶品

One of our favorite restaurants in neighborhhood, SUJI's had a 4th anniversary party.    They have served gorgeous and perfect brunch, very big burgers, and a variety of American foods that not only Americans but we all enjoyed their superb tastes - it's like Mom's home cooking.   According to Ms. Suji, they added more menus such as  healthy vegetable dishes, or small portioned plates.  Unlike fast food restaurants, they cook everything with good care in the open-kitchen and don't use any frozen ingredients!  Ms. Suji is a Korean-American brought up in the U.S., but she also speaks fluent Japanese.  She is such a charming lady who always cheers us up.  It's a great restaurant to have delicious American food in relaxing and cheerful atmosphere.  You can take your children, too!!

昼間、通りかかるとオーナーのSujiさんが・・・

「4周年記念パーティーをやるので参加していただけませんか」　「いつも利用してくださるので貴方たちをご招待します」　とのこと。　

最近行っていないのに悪いな～　と思いつつも、せっかくなので参加しちゃいました。

BIGなハンバーガーをはじめとして、ボリューム満点のこのお店。　特にアメリカ人には好評で彼らにとっての「おふくろの味」　といったようなお店のようです。

4周年を機に新メニューも続々追加したとこのと。（野菜を使ったヘルシーメニューや量を抑えたメニューも登場）

ファミレスと違い冷凍食品は使わずオープンキッチンで調理しています。

Sujiさんはアメリカ育ちの韓国人。（日本語ペラペラ）　気さくで笑顔が素敵な女性です。

是非、お近くにいらした際に訪れてみてください。

☆とてもアットホームなお店で子供連れでもOK　むしろ歓迎してくれますよ～

Madame T. came to visit us from Kamakura.  She brought us a wonderful Christmas gift topped with a cute Santa.  The gift is a jam made of dried fruits and nuts, called  Noel from Romi-Unie Confiture, a very popular jam shop.  I believe that they have another shop in Gakugeidaigaku.  I just wanted to take a photo of the box, since it's so cute and this was the first Christmas gift of this year.  Mme.T, always cheerful and bright and she is such an elegant lady, told us about her recent news that she bought a Persian carpet for her dining room and she enjoys rearranging her rooms.  I became very impatient to look at her new rooms!!  I am always grateful to her charm to cheer up and stimulate me

今日、鎌倉マダムが可愛い可愛いプレゼントを持ってご来店。　みると可愛らしいサンタがついてる～　

今、鎌倉でブレイクしているジャム屋さん、ロミ・ユニ　コンフィチュールのノエルと言う名前のドライフルーツやナッツまで入っているミックスジャム。　むむ？学芸大にもありますね。

味見の前にパチリ。　こういう小さくて可愛らしいギフトって見ているだけで嬉しくなってしまいますよね。　お気遣いどうもありがとうございました。

さて、鎌倉マダムの近況ですが、最近綺麗なペルシャ絨毯を購入されて、ゲストダイニングを模様替えされたとか・・・・。　近々にお伺いして見せていただかなくては！！

Do you know Halloumi Cheese?  My friend, 'M'chan, who is living in London, brought it to me.  I tried to cook it in 2 ways following exactly what she told me.  Recipe 1: Heat the olive oil in a saucepan and saute the cheese until golden on both sides --- Delicious!  Good with white wine!!  Recipe 2: Dress grilled asparagus and paprica, and sauted cheese with olive oil and grated scent-free garlic. Excellent combination of sweet vegetables and salty cheese!!  I am too impatient to wait for the next time she comes back with the cheese, so I will look for the way to get it.

Halloumi Cheese（ハルミチーズ）という名前のチーズをご存知ですか？先日ロンドンに住む友達から「絶対好きだと思う！」と、お土産にいただきました。初めて出会うチーズ、どうなるか分からないので教えられた通りに調理。せっかくだから2メニュー作ってみました

まずオリーブオイルで焼き色をつけてアツアツをそのまま食べてみました。う～～ん美味しい！！白ワインとの相性バッチリ

お次は焼き色のついたチーズにグリルしたパプリカ＆グリーンアスパラと和えてみました。　味付けはオリーブオイルと無臭ニンニクのすりおろしを少しだけ。　野菜の甘さとチーズの程良い塩味がうまく調和して何とも言えない美味しさに、舌鼓癖になりそう。　

気に入ったらまた買ってくるね！と言ってくれましたが、待ちきれない私はひたすら日本で手に入れようと四苦八苦することでしょう　食いしん坊 はこういう努力は惜しみません
