I don't know when Halloween events got to be familiar in Japan, but now everybody knows it. Today I played with Halloween colors/orange & black on our items and pumpkins at our window display
It was fun to make the atmosphere to scare the children. I chose the temple water basin for flowers and the paper lamp shaped like pumpkin.
I hope the people who pass by our shop will enjoy the cheerful display after dark.

ハロウィンが馴染み深いイベントになったのはいつのことだったでしょうか？ 色々なところで催しがあったりして、今の子供たちはきっと楽しいだろうな～、と思います。
昨日とうって変わって、今日はすっかり秋日和
ちょっと肌寒いし身体を動かそう！ということでディスプレイチェンジ ハロウィン風に変えてみちゃいました
花もオレンジのケイトウを使ったり、小さなカボチャまで（笑）置いて、やりだすと止まらない。小さなランプに顔までつけちゃった
さて、今年は何人の子供が来るでしょう～
I think the fans of our facebookpage know this flowers we planted in the small garden in front of the shop in early July. It has been growing up so fast. I just would like to show it on our blog, too
I don't tend to the flowers often, but the circumstances must be very nice for it. Each flower blooms for only 1 day, but the next flower replace it so quickly. I think it blooms until November, and I will have to cut it in half. Until then, we will enjoy it and autumn comfortable wind...
当店のfacebookpageをご覧の方なら覚えている方もいらっしゃるかと思いますが、7月初めに植えたアメリカンブルーがこんなに大きくなりました。 あまり手入れをきちんとしているわけでもなくお水や肥料を少しずつあげているだけで、可愛らしいブルーの花を次々に咲かせてくれます。西日が当たるこの小さな植え込みが好きなのでしょう。 こんな環境でもプチガーデニングを楽しめるのですね～
11月には半分くらいの長さにカットするとまた来年お花をつけてくれるのだそう
カットした茎は上手くいくとお水に付けておくと、根っこが生えてきて春に新しい株になるとか・・・。 成功したらおすそ分けしますね
それまで青くて可愛い花と、気持ちの良い秋風を楽しむとしましょうか・・・
It was very nice sunny day around here in Lake Yamanaka, and we took a walk to the lake in the morning. The wind was very cool and comfortable. It is quite different from Tokyo at the beginning of August.
When we looked around the lake, we found pampas grass. It was amazing to see it in August. Even though it was fresh and red colored, it is a real sign of Autumn. I felt vacation season would finish soon and it reminded me of the sad, the-end-of-summer feeling
in my childhood.
１５日の朝、あまりに風がとても気持ち良かったので、湖畔へ散歩に出かけました。 お盆休暇の真っ最中、キャンプや湖上にはボートやジェットスキーをする人が大勢楽しんでいました。
夏休みか・・・。 子供のころ本当に待ち遠しかったのと、８月も後半になるとなんだか物悲しくなっていってしまったことをよく覚えています。
そして、ふと見ると、なんとすすきが・・・。 高原の夏は短いのでしょう。 だからこんなにも気持ちが良いのかもしれませんね。 ほんの少し淋しくなってしまいましたが、東京はまだまだ猛暑！！そんな事を言っている場合ではありません？？ 麻布のお店、開店します！！
It has been 12 days since we come to Lake Yamanaka and we luckily got some nice friends here The family, Mr.&Mrs.A and their lovely children, who live in the next house to the cottage, are very kind and it is our big pleasure to share much time with them. Since they've put their roots in here for a long time, we got many nice local information from them
Today, Mrs.A brought Hozuki & dahlia from her garden
They are very fresh and beauiful!! I admire her wonderful personality looking at the flowers and appreciate our luck to meet such a nice family....
山中湖へ来て早12日、ようやくこちらの生活に慣れ、ご近所づきあいまでさせていただくようになりました お隣に住むAさんファミリーは私たちの山中湖生活には欠かせない存在。本当にお世話になっています やはり地元の方と知り合いになると楽しさ倍増、いえ、何倍もその土地を満喫出来ると思います。
今日はお庭で育てたほおづきやダリアをプレゼントしてくれました さすが採りたては新鮮、ピッカピカです。嬉しくなってパチリ
こんな素敵なご家族と巡り合えた幸運に感謝
ただ・・・気がつくと娘が上がり込んで朝ごはんまでいただいていて、トホホなのですが・・・。 申し訳ありませ～ん
I have heard the heat in Tokyo is very severe, but the weather around Lake Yamanaka is so comfortable especially in the morning. We had time to go to the lake this morning, and rent the swan boat for our daughter. It was a little hard to pedal the boat, but we enjoyed feeding swans there. They followed us for food, and sometimes peeked into the boat. It was the first time for me to take close-up pictures of them. Please enjoy them!!
東京は2～3日前から酷暑と聞いていますが、こちら山中湖は日中は少し暑さを感じるものの、朝晩は快適な気温で、まさに高原リゾートといったさわやかな陽気となっています。 先週は午後になると天候が崩れなかなか富士山も拝むことができませんでしたが・・・。
今朝は午前中、山中湖へ娘と連れだって、スワンボートに乗りに出かけました。 漕ぎ始めはきつっ！と思いましたが（汗）慣れてくるもので白鳥に餌をあげながら30分、楽しく湖をまわることが出来ました。
白鳥も慣れたもので、餌を食べるためについてきてくれます。 そして、まさか、と思いきやボートに首をつっこんできて、せがみます。近くで見ると意外と大きく、娘は固まっておりました（笑）
久しぶりに‘山中湖の夏’を楽しんだ一日でした。
When I arranged flowers at the entrance this morning, I felt something moving slightly..... I didn't pay attention on it, and continued enjoy the fresh flowers....
BUT I realized what was IT!! Snake!!
It was almost 1 meter long and stared hard at me.... Oh my god, It was like feeling as if I had become a frog(!?)
After a while, it escaped to the bush. Here in Lake Yamanaka, I meet so many kinds of bugs like biting flies, wooly worms(I have never seen, big and colorful!!), bees in the garden at the cottage. It is just like an small adventure to stay in the forest.
朝、気持ちよく山で花を摘んでエントランスで活けていると、誰もいる気配はないのに、なんとなく視線を感じキョロキョロ・・・気にせず続けておりましたが・・・ でっ、出た～～～～～～
ニョロニョロ～って・・・多分青大将？全長約1メートル。ここへ来てブヨ、巨大カラフル毛虫、蜂、蟻 等々の様々な昆虫に遭い、電気ショック蠅たたきラケットが手放せない日々ですが、ヘビさんにお目にかかるとは・・・。いるのは分かっていても全身むき出しで玄関に登場なんて・・・。
虫除けはこちらで各種ご用意しております。 安心してご来場できますのでご心配なく～。（ヘビ除けはありませんが・・・）
For the construction for changing the shutter (it was broken 2 months ago!), the very small garden in front of the shop was destroyed
The construction has been finished and I made the garden again
I chose Blue daze
and creeping ficus. Hopefully, ficus will creep on the old wood frame there, and blue flower will match the white stone... I'm worried about the heat in mid summer, but I will try to look after it
2か月前に大音響と共に壊れてしまったお店のシャッターを付け替えるために日曜日から2日間工事が行われました。 気がついている方がいらっしゃるかどうかわかりませんが、エントランスには小さな小さな植え込みがあり、密かに古材の柱をワイヤープラントが大きくなって這っていく様子を楽しんで見ておりました・・・ がっ
、今回のこの工事で根こそぎ撤去することになり、掘り起こしたワイヤープラントはすっかり弱って、サヨナラすることに・・・
工事がようやく終わり、気を取り直して今日は朝から園芸屋さんへ。 選んだのは斑入りのプミラとアメリカンブルー
今度はプミラがこげ茶の古材を這っていく様子を楽しもうかと思います。 せっかくだからお花も、と思い外に並べている染付に合わせてブルーの花を 白い石をまわりに敷き詰めて完成。 ちょっと涼しげな良い感じになりました

Although the weather is not nice, I wanted to feel early summer and bought some small sunflowers today The bright yellow color is very nice on Imari blue & white 'Suiban'!! I love this combination of blue & yellow in summer. Fresh green leaves are also so beautiful with them. Suiban is nice when you want to keep the flower arrangement low on the table. I hope the rainy season will be finished early, but soon we will have to think about the crazy heat of mid summer in Tokyo. How are you plannng to survive the heat this year?
いや～～なお天気が続きそうですが、気分だけでも爽やかに・・・、と思い、可愛らしい向日葵とグリーンを買ってきました 染付の水盤に低く活けてテーブルに置いてみました。 水盤は活け花のためだけのもの、と思われがちですが、テーブルで視線を遮らないように低く花を飾るためにはとっても重宝します 流儀は気にせずバランス良く・・・、が私のモットー（お花の先生に怒られそうですが・・・） どうぞお試しあれ～～
