For the construction for changing the shutter (it was broken 2 months ago!), the very small garden in front of the shop was destroyed  The construction has been finished and I made the garden again  I chose Blue daze and creeping ficus. Hopefully, ficus will creep on the old wood frame there, and blue flower will match the white stone...  I'm worried about the heat in mid summer, but I will try to look after it

2か月前に大音響と共に壊れてしまったお店のシャッターを付け替えるために日曜日から2日間工事が行われました。　気がついている方がいらっしゃるかどうかわかりませんが、エントランスには小さな小さな植え込みがあり、密かに古材の柱をワイヤープラントが大きくなって這っていく様子を楽しんで見ておりました・・・　がっ、今回のこの工事で根こそぎ撤去することになり、掘り起こしたワイヤープラントはすっかり弱って、サヨナラすることに・・・

工事がようやく終わり、気を取り直して今日は朝から園芸屋さんへ。　選んだのは斑入りのプミラとアメリカンブルー　今度はプミラがこげ茶の古材を這っていく様子を楽しもうかと思います。　せっかくだからお花も、と思い外に並べている染付に合わせてブルーの花を　　白い石をまわりに敷き詰めて完成。　ちょっと涼しげな良い感じになりました

As we got many requests from our customers, we have got many kinds of Stone Lanterns.  Let me introduce one which made of 'Goryo' stone.  It is from Amakusa area in Kyushu island.  The charming round body attracts us  Since the surface can be easily covered with green moss, you will enjoy 'Wabi-Sabi' taste in your garden soon

We will get many more styles of Stone Lanterns soon.  Don't miss it!!

....Hopefully, they will be carried by yourselves..... soooo heavy...

  We've enjoyed adding nice things for our 'Lake Yamanaka Showroom.'  But we could not find nice cushions and a green table cloth for a big dining table there

'I have to make them by myself....'   So I went to the nice fabric shop, 'Cotton field,' in Kichijo-ji and bought some for them.

The theme is 'The forest by the cottage near Mt.Fuji.' '   We decided to put the new cushions on the bench in the garden.

I recommend you to make 'ONLY ONE' handmade by yourself.  It is fun to choose material, too

山中湖ショールームをデコレートするにあたって、探していたもの・・・良い雰囲気のクッションカバー、そして大きなダイニングテーブルに合うグリーンのテーブルクロス。

探してみると、なかなかないもので、思い切って手作りすることに

お気に入りのファブリックショップ、吉祥寺のコットンフィールドで生地を買い、作ってみました。　さすがに久々のソーイングでミシンもあまり調子が良くない中、なんとかクッション２つとテーブルクロス（２８０ｘ１６０！！）が完成

明るい方の柄の生地はかなりのお気に入り。湖畔のコテージの木々の中に置いたベンチにのせましょっと

We enjoy thinking about various ideas to decorate our showroom in Lake Yamanaka. Today, let me introduce our ideas for arranging the space by the window. We made a nice lamp using 'Seto' blue & white porcelain vase with the picture of Mt.Fuji!!   The top half of Sendai Tansu is very good size to put under the window. 

We will continue to post our ideas using the spaces there

その一例をご紹介。　仙台箪笥の半分を使用して腰高の窓の下をアレンジ。　ランプは染付の筒型花器を利用した特注品（絵柄はもちろん富士山）、練上のお皿は忍野在住の陶芸家　会田雄亮氏の作品　といった感しで山中湖という場所を意識した（しすぎ？？）アイテムを取り揃えてみました。　　

一軒まるごとコーディネートしていますので見どころ盛りだくさん

色々と変更しながら楽しみたいと思っています

Although the weather is not nice, I wanted to feel early summer and bought some small sunflowers today　 The bright yellow color is very nice on Imari blue & white 'Suiban'!!  I love this combination of blue & yellow in summer.  Fresh green leaves are also so beautiful with them.  Suiban is nice when you want to keep the flower arrangement low on the table. I hope the rainy season will be finished early, but soon we will have to think about the crazy heat of mid summer in Tokyo. How are you plannng to survive the heat this year?

いや～～なお天気が続きそうですが、気分だけでも爽やかに・・・、と思い、可愛らしい向日葵とグリーンを買ってきました　染付の水盤に低く活けてテーブルに置いてみました。　　水盤は活け花のためだけのもの、と思われがちですが、テーブルで視線を遮らないように低く花を飾るためにはとっても重宝します　流儀は気にせずバランス良く・・・、が私のモットー（お花の先生に怒られそうですが・・・）　どうぞお試しあれ～～

梅雨の晴れ間、とても清々しい朝だったのでウィンドウディスプレイを変更しました　新しく入荷した染付の水盤に小さな観葉植物と、ガラスの浮き玉をアレンジ。　目にも涼しい雰囲気になりました。　　窓の外には駿河竹細工の風鈴を下げて、猛暑＆節電に備えます（！？）

I don't know why I got this item  But he seemed to want to come with me.  His Sake bottle ('Tokkuri') was tied by the poor wire and his rusted body was covered by dust

I cleaned him and changed the wire to a hemp string I braid up  I also set the bulb inside and it turned to a very unique lamp  I feel like I did something nice Don't you think so

なぜかこの狸が気になって、連れて帰ってしまいました彼の持ち物は安っぽいワイヤーで繋がれ、錆びた身体は埃だらけ・・・

でも、信楽の狸の像はよく見かけますが、鉄狸はそうそういません。

お店に持ち帰り、せっせとお掃除、そしてワイヤーも手で編んだ麻紐に取り替えました　空洞になっている内側に夜はライトを入れたりして・・・

なんということでしょう（どこかで聞いたセリフ）拾ってきて（いえ、買ったんですが）助けてあげた気分。　是非、見に来て下さいね～
