I don't know when Halloween events got to be familiar in Japan, but now everybody knows it.  Today I played with Halloween colors/orange & black on our items and pumpkins at our window display

It was fun to make the atmosphere to scare the children.  I chose the temple water basin for flowers and the paper lamp shaped like pumpkin.

I hope the people who pass by our shop will enjoy the cheerful display after dark.

How many kids will say  'Trick or treat' to us this year

ハロウィンが馴染み深いイベントになったのはいつのことだったでしょうか？　色々なところで催しがあったりして、今の子供たちはきっと楽しいだろうな～、と思います。

昨日とうって変わって、今日はすっかり秋日和 ちょっと肌寒いし身体を動かそう！ということでディスプレイチェンジ　ハロウィン風に変えてみちゃいました　花もオレンジのケイトウを使ったり、小さなカボチャまで（笑）置いて、やりだすと止まらない。小さなランプに顔までつけちゃった

さて、今年は何人の子供が来るでしょう～

We really like Yonezawa Tansu, because the feeling on it is just like a lady who is very reserved and respect for good manners.  Uh...it is very difficult to express my feeling, but the taste on it is not too strong and goes very well with modern furniture and interior decoration

This is very unique color for Yonezawa and it has very fancy butterfly metal work

Today, we went to Arisugawa Park and German Embassy to see the festival.  It stopped raining  in the morning, and got so warm.  I expected some german (trocken!) wine or beer and some nice sausage there.  Of course, we went by bus

BUT, it was so crowded and there were already many many long lines of the people who were thinking of same thing  Finally we could get some wine and german pizza/kuchen, but the lady told me the pizza would be served 1 hour later

I like this type of the event, but It was difficult for me to stay in the crowd for a long time

雨も上がったので、よし！と今日はドイツ大使館と有栖川公園で開催されたドイツフェスティバルへ出かけました。 ドイツワインまたはビールにソーセージなんかも食べられたりして・・・、と期待大で到着～もちろんバスで　

着いて見ると・・・、すでにスゴイ行列ソーセージに至っては公園の下から上まで人、人、人・・・。　ソーセージはすぐにあきらめ、気を取り直して、グラスワイン～お隣のドイツピザ屋さんでも注文しました。 「1000円になります。出来上がりは1時間後です！」　え～～～～～っ

大盛況なのは良かったと思うのですが、大混雑。一瞬見動きがとれなくなりました。内容はよく覚えておりません。　ただ、チェーンソー彫刻、これはゆっくり見られたし、面白かった！！

そして、1時間後ピザをピックアップしに行って、さぁ、アツアツのクリスピー！と期待して口にしたら・・・凍ってた。　お店の方、忙しくて凍ったままのを渡してしまったのですねシュンもう戻る元気もなく、アイスピザ食べました～。無念

We went to the auction and bought many interesting items yesterday!!

For example, large Yonezawa Tansu, Tai(Sea bream)-shaped Sweet box, black lacquered plate with fine 'Makie' picture, Imari 'Sashimi' plates, Kutani Sake cups, Lacquered Plates of Autumn leaf, 'Mamezara'(very small plate), Imari Polychrome Japanese tea cups, Wooden cookie mold of and etc...

I think the fans of our facebookpage know this flowers we planted in the small garden in front of the shop in early July.  It has been growing up so fast.  I just would like to show it on our blog, too

I don't tend to the flowers often, but the circumstances must be very nice for it.  Each flower blooms for only 1 day, but the next flower replace it so quickly.  I think it blooms until November, and I will have to cut it in half.  Until then, we will enjoy it and autumn comfortable wind...

当店のfacebookpageをご覧の方なら覚えている方もいらっしゃるかと思いますが、7月初めに植えたアメリカンブルーがこんなに大きくなりました。　あまり手入れをきちんとしているわけでもなくお水や肥料を少しずつあげているだけで、可愛らしいブルーの花を次々に咲かせてくれます。西日が当たるこの小さな植え込みが好きなのでしょう。　こんな環境でもプチガーデニングを楽しめるのですね～　

11月には半分くらいの長さにカットするとまた来年お花をつけてくれるのだそう　カットした茎は上手くいくとお水に付けておくと、根っこが生えてきて春に新しい株になるとか・・・。　成功したらおすそ分けしますね

それまで青くて可愛い花と、気持ちの良い秋風を楽しむとしましょうか・・・

We went to the house in Setagaya to shoot images for our interior decorating page today. The house is surrounded by many huge trees and we could enjoy the comfortable autumn wind there  From the terrace at 2nd floor, we could find orange osmanthus and persimmon.  Since it smells so sweet, I closed my eyes and got sleepy even if my husband had very hard time to take many photos because of the strong sunlight there

Eventually, we could get so nice photos to introduce how to use big cabinet and step chest. And also you will see old Nagamochi couch would be very interesting in the modern architecture.

All of our ideas will be carried soon

今日は一日かけてショールーム画像を撮影するために世田谷へ。　この邸宅、なんと世田谷の中の大木が生い茂る「森」の中にあります　モダンでゆったりした空間で日本の古いモノ達をいかに楽しく生かせるか・・・いつもワクワクしながら並べています。　私は商品を選んで並べていきます。撮影は夫君。　綺麗な画像を掲載するために一生懸命

さて・・・並べ終わったので二階へ行って初秋の森の空気でも・・・と思い、テラスへ出ると・・・、うわっ大きな金木犀と柿の木が一緒に並んでる・・・。いい香り～～～目にも美しい。すっかり気持ち良くなって眠気まで襲ってきた　燦々と降り注ぐ秋の日差しに悩まされている夫の事を知ることもなく、見て～～！！、とこの画像を見せたのでした　

さて、今回のショールーム画像、数日で掲載予定です。総欅の階段箪笥、大きな帳場と分割活用法など、見どころ満載！（の予定）　お楽しみに～！
