Last week, we got many small Items which are good for Christmas gifts.  I just would like to show them and decorated them on the table at the front window.  All of them are so colorful with red, gold, and green!!  The people who passed by stopped there and checked them for a long time!! 

Okura Oriental Art will advise our customers the idea of the gifts at any time.  We wrap everyything for gift, of course.  (It is the only one Japanese Antique shop who do wrapping service in Japan!!)  Please feel free to ask about anything!!

先週仕入れたばかりの商品・・・、よくみるとクリスマスカラーの色絵が沢山。気軽なギフト使えそうなものや、親しい方へ選りすぐりの逸品ギフトに出来そうなものまでズラリ！！　

と、いうわけで今日はウィンドウディスプレイをクリスマス風にしてしまいました！！（さすがにイルミネーションは止めておきましたが）　気分が華やぐのでしょうか・・・お散歩途中の方など、道行く人が楽しそうに足を止めて見て下さってます。

あと数日で12月。もういいですよね。クリスマスシーズンってことで・・・笑。　

さて、大蔵オリエンタルアートではご予算や差し上げる方の趣向等をお伺いしてギフトのアドバイスをさせていただいております。'骨董品をギフトに？！'　とお考えの方のいらっしゃることと思いますが、海外のお客様の中ではごく一般的。もちろんラッピングも致します（好きなんです、ハイ）。

おそらくラッピングサービスまでしちゃう骨董屋なんて、私のお店くらいかな・・・ハハハ

Imari Polychrome Porcelain (Christmas colors), Red Tai-fish(sea bream)-shaped sweet box, Black lacquered Obi Stand(very old!) & Plates( over 250 years old!?), blue& white 'Senmen'(Fan-shaped) large plate, Gosho doll(looks healthy!), Ariake- paper Lamps(1pair), Kutani Porcelain Bowls with the fine picture of Dragon!!(for 2012!!), Tooooo many items.  We have no time to take pictures now, but we will fo it soon!!  Please imagine how interesting they are....

ギフトシーズンに向けて、楽しい小物達が入荷してきました。

伊万里各種（蛸唐草オンパレード、変型皿色々、なます大量、色絵菱形皿、五寸皿）

鯛の菓子器（ポッテリ可愛い）　黒塗手拭掛け（ディスプレーに一役）　花籠（ホラ貝型）、極小長持（何だか使い易そう）、蒔絵銘々皿（何と享保年間）、　人力車サイン（何だこれ）、瀬戸扇面皿（カジュアルにどうぞ）、祥瑞水指（珍しく茶道具）、有明行灯（ペアでよろしく）　染付丸段重（小鳥が舞ってます）、御所人形（ホテルオークラで展示予定）　九谷三つ組鉢（来年の干支が中心に）その他、多数入荷しました。　なんだかんだバタバタして撮影まで手が回っておりません・・・。

It was a exciting news that Mr, Yo-Yo Ma would invite us to his concert 2011 we knew at the beginning of 2011. It seemed unbelievable to me and I could not expect the dream would come true..... But we received the wonderful mail from his secretary that told he would invite us to it on Nov 14th!! 

Of course, we happily attended it and spend the most beautiful time.  I wore 'Kimono' to express our gratitude.  Also we were so lucky to be invited to backstage after the show and enjoyed conversation with him.

“ヨーヨー・マ様が私達をコンサートへ招待してくださる？？”　というメールを秘書の方から頂いたのが今年の初め・・・　　去年の今頃でしたでしょうか？　商品をお買い上げいただき、楽しくお話させていただいたのは。　日本の美術や骨董品について、興味深く、沢山のことを訊かれたのをよく覚えています。  紳士的な物腰にうっとりしながら、会話をしばし楽しませていただきました。

実は先日まで何かの間違いでは・・・と思っていたのですが、昨日コンサートへ（本当に）出席させていただきました！！しかも楽屋までごあいさつへ。 なんだか夢のよう・・・。

コンサートで演奏している彼は本当にものすごい迫力で圧倒されてしまうのですが、その後は柔和でフランク、これぞ天才なのでしょうね～。　またまた彼の魅力にとり憑かれてしまいました。　

神様幸せな時間をありがとう～～～！！

We set up the table decoraion at the front window today.  When I get new arrivals, I always want to decorate them as soon as possible.  The table is too small to decorate all of them, and you will enjoy more items in the shop.  Please come and check them!!

We went to an auction on Nov 4th and the new arrivals are ready to show you!! 

For example, many of Imari & Kutani plates and cups, Hibachi pot, Lacquered trays, Screen for Japanese garden, HUGE Shishigashira, Obi, and many more items.  So the shop was in mess all day today.

11月3日（木）文化の日　　大蔵オリエンタルアートは通常通り営業いたします。

今日も朝からいい天気　お散歩のついでにでもお立ち寄りください。

We feel confused by the difference of the recent temperature in Tokyo this year, but we could realized it is real late autumn in Lake Yamanaka. The mountains are colored by orange, red and yellow. It was very cold in the evening, and lit the stove and we enjoyed the fire very much.

Today, it was very nice weather and we could see the snow at the top of Mt. Fuji. And also, 'Momiji' festival is held around the lake!! The people enjoy fishing 'Wakasagi' on the ice in winter. I prefer the holiday in tropical island....I can't imagine myself fishing on the ice. But I just want to wait for my husband who may get much 'Wakasagi' and try to cook it!!

Our showroom will be closed in winter time. Please wait for the renewed one next spring!!

東京の秋とは思えない気温の変化に右往左往しておりましたが、山中湖へ来て、本物の秋を満喫してまいりました。もう夜は暖房を使わないと凍えてしまいそう・・・、で楽しみにしていた薪ストーブに点火！パチパチと燃える火にウットリ・・・。
夜、到着したので、朝、窓の外を見てビックリ！景色が全く違う~！（当たり前ですが・・・笑）　山は彩られ富士山はうっすらと雪が積もってる！　湖周辺は紅葉祭りの真っ最中！良い季節に来ることが出来、ちょっと得した気分。
冬になるとワカサギ釣りで賑わうそうです。がっ、寒さに弱い私はとても冷たい湖上でじっとワカサギを待つなんてこと想像がつかず・・・（楽しみにしている方、スミマセン）　でも食べたい。
とにかく盛り沢山の山中湖、ぜひいらしてみてください。

さて、山中湖のショールームですが、冬の間はCLOSEとさせていただきます。暖かくなったら新しいしつらいをご覧いただけるよう商品を集めていきます。準備が出来次第ご案内させていただく予定です。どうぞお楽しみに～！
