We were happy to be invited to the Christmas party by ROGOBA, who always help us for shooting images for interior decorating pages. Since it was very cozy and warm party, we forgot the time passed....

先日、インテリアコーディネートの撮影で大変お世話になっているROGOBAさんのクリスマスパーティに招待されました。

初めて参加させていただいたのですが、非常にアットホームな集まりでついつい長居・・・・。

楽しい時間をありがとうございました。

We went to the Marche, held every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. at Ark Hills.  Every retailer is very friendly, it's an nice atmosphere.  We could get very hot, delicious "Yaki-imo ( baked sweet potatoes)."  We could also find Christmas wreath, beautiful flower arrangements, and some deli foods.  Why don't you try next week?

近くに住んでいるのに知らなかった・・・　

先週、お客様に教えてもらい本日、早速行ってきました。

アークヒルズで毎週土曜日に開催されるMARCHE。

意気込みすぎて10時開始なのに9時過ぎには到着　　でもお店の方々みなさんフレンドリーで開店準備で忙しい中、新鮮な野菜を売っていただきました～。

おまけにホカホカの焼きイモ　まで頂きました　冷えた身体に最高

焼きイモを包んでくれた新聞は横文字・・・。場所柄ですかね～

野菜だけでなく、果物、クリスマスリース、オシャレなフラワーアレンジメント、その他、お惣菜なども購入出来ます。

早起きして是非行ってみてください。

☆クルマで行く方は必ず駐車場へ入れてくださいね。路上駐車したら１００％違反切符切られますよ

"Antique Shopping Guide " is the name of a magazine, which gives variety of information on anitique shops in Japan.  Okura Oriental Art is nicely introduced there.  It's been a difficult time for publishers all over the world, but this publisher, Japan Planning Association ( http://www.jpa-x.co.jp/ ) is one of the exceptional publishers which are doing well in business.  We were glad that a reporter was sent to cover our shop, the nice picture was taken.  The other publisher who called us before was very bad, because they said that " If you prepare the article, pictures, and all the material we need, we will cover your shop in our magazine."  ! ! !  I was furious, thinking," then what will you do? how arrogant you are!!"  Antique Shopping Guide can be purchased through Amazon,    http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/4883573605 . 

アンティークショッピングガイドなる骨董関連のショップを集めた情報誌に大蔵オリエンタルアートを掲載していただきました。

出版不況といわれる中、こちらの雑誌は頑張って健闘しているようです・・・・。

わざわざ取材にきてくれました。

このような雑誌の中には「画像、テキスト、その他全て用意すれば掲載しますよ」などという呆れた方もいるんです。　自分達はなんの仕事するんでしょうね～

We changed the display of our show-window to the full Christmas mode.  It was a very cold day, but we had many customers who were looking for the Christmas gift for someone, or for themselves.  We don't know why but we know we have many customers on bad weather days. . . . Maybe we know, it must be a teaching especially for us,  " work hard, punctually and deligently!!" . . .  well, we should admit and follow . .

This year, we will be OPEN until December 26th(Sat.)

今日はウインドーディスプレーを変更し、クリスマスモードに。

寒い一日でしたが、ウインドーに引かれてなのか、ご来店される方が多い日でした。。

天候が悪いほどなぜかお客様がよくご来店されるようです。以前、珍しく東京が大雪が降り積もり、こんな日は誰も来ないと思い、通常の開店時間を過ぎて呑気にお店を開けようとしたら、コーヒー片手に凍えながら軒下で待っているお客様・・・・。　　

ちゃんと時間通りにしないといけませんね・・・・。反省・・・・。

年末は26日まで営業いたします。ご来店お待ちいたしております。

大蔵オリエンタルアート

My(!) Mr.David Sanborn came to our shop on the next day of his live concert as he promised.   I asked his staff for taking the picture of him in our shop.  Please look at them, it's not the composites.  It is so heart-warming to see Mr. Sanborn looking at Kokeshi and Japanese Antiques.  He must have been a bit tired with the very busy tour schedule, and I hoped he could feel relaxed at our shop.  I pray for his continuing wonderful tours!!  It was a great pleasure and honor for us to be visited by him.

こけしと向き合うDavidさんというのもなかなか面白い画像ですよね・・・・

私とのツーショットもあるのですが、それは宝物として生涯大事に保存しておきます

日本各地でのツアー中で少々お疲れ気味でしたが、大好きな日本の骨董を手に取りとてもリラックスしたご様子

多忙な日々だとは思いますが、お体を大切に

これからも定期的にご来店してくださるそうです。感激

It was not a dream Tonight, I went to Mr. David Sanborn's concert at Blue Note Tokyo.  It was heavily raining outside, but my heart was like a clear sky with happiness.    Oh, their live performace was just more than my expectaion, it was so energetic and impressive that I was moved to tears at the end  Thank for the staffs at Blue Note, I could talk with Mr. Sanborn and his Group while the intermission.  Furthermore, he promised me to come to my shop tomorrow.  I feel like I was born for today

夢ではありませんでした

DAVID　SANBORNの公演をみるためBLUE NOTE　TOKYO　へ　

外は生憎の雨でしたが、ココロ晴れ晴れ

ステージ正面の席に案内され、ライブ演奏を満喫　やはり迫力が違います。

ライブ終盤・・・・・。感極まって涙があふれてきました。　生きててよかった・・・・。

公演終了後、BLUENOTEのスタッフさんの計らいで楽屋で休憩中のDAVID氏とメンバーの方々と談笑タイム

どこまで幸せものなんでしょう・・・・。私は・・・・。

先日、楽しい商品を多数入手出来ました　いち早くホームページに掲載せねばっ　と撮影、編集作業をしているのですが、なかなか思うように進みません。
