Daishichi　Sake Brewery was founded in 1752, in the northeast of Japan. Their Sake has an outstanding reputation.  We buy their Sake from time to time, for the display of our showwindow, for gifts, and of course for pampering ourselves.  Their Sake was served at the Summit Meeting, they won numerous awards, maybe there is no need of explanation, most of the Sake lovers must know them!  They have English and Dutch sites, so please check them!  Their Sake will be the good souvenir when you go abroad.

大七酒造　自宅用に購入したり、贈り物にしたり、お店のディスプレーに使用したりとここ最近小まめに利用させていただいています。

北海道洞爺湖サミットにおいて、公式晩餐会の乾杯酒に純米大吟醸酒が採用されたこともあるようです。

そろそろ注文しようかな～と思っていたらタイミングよくDMが送られてきました

There was a long line to get the black boiled egg, the specialty of Owakudani volcanic valley --- When the white eggs are boiled in the hot, black sulfurous water, they turn to black soon.  In legend, it is said that one black egg will prolong your life by 7 years, two eggs 14 years, , , well let's see. . .  I was surprised that there were so many people lined for the eggs.

大涌谷名物、黒いゆで卵。　これを目当てに大勢の人が並んでいます・・・。　大量の卵を係りの人が熱湯の中に仕込んでいきます。足が熱湯に入っていますけど大丈夫ですかね？

で、どのくらいのゆで時間かは知りませんが、あら不思議・・・。白い卵が黒にヘンシ～ン

1個食べると7年、2個で14年寿命が延びるそうで・・・。　延びたかな～　

ところで、皆さん・・・。そんなにゆで卵が好きなのですか　

We went to a hot spring in Hakone with our friend's family.  Please look at these gorgeous leaves!  They were already in deep red, and therefore, there were so many people enjoying the beautiful autumn.  We were surprised to find that there were also a lot of visitors from China.  We tried the famous tramway to get Lake Ashinoko.  Then went on to Senjogahara where is famous for the 'Susuki (pampas grass) field.  Of course, we were all very happy with beautiful autumn leaves, relaxing hot spring, and delicious food.

お休みを利用して親友家族と一緒に箱根の温泉へ　紅葉の時期ですので平日にも関わらずものすごい人でした・・・・。（予想外）　中国人御一行様が多いのにもビックリ

ロープウェーを乗り継ぎ、芦ノ湖まで。上から見る紅葉がなんと素晴らしいことか・・・・。

でも、乗車券売り場の職員、ものすごく不親切でブッキラボウなのが誠に残念　乗車人数のギネス世界記録認定だそうですからもっとお客さんに親切にしないとね

気を取り直し、仙石原のススキを見に行きましたがこちらも非常に美しい

温泉に入り、紅葉とススキを愛でて美味しい料理に舌鼓　日本人って贅沢ですね～

Our favorite is this one in Hachioji, near the Chuo Expressway, Hachioji Interchange.  Vegitables, eggs, fruits, flowers, all the local products are so good and inexpensive.  According to the data, there are more than 900 stations throughout Japan.  We really recommend you to try one!!!

八王子へ行くたびに訪れる場所。　インターチェンジのすぐそばにある道の駅です。

地元で採れた新鮮な野菜や果物、烏骨鶏の玉子や総菜　お花や植木まで売っていていつも大盛況

都内からも大勢お客さんが来ているそうです。

ご近所に住んでいる　トイプードル　名前は　Pちゃん　私がお店の前で作業をしていると遠くから猛ダッシュで走ってきてこんな風にひっくりかえって御挨拶してくれます

この無防備な体制・・・・・。　彼女のお散歩時間が楽しみな毎日

NOW International Bazaar is held at Tokyo American Club.  This time, we are not participating, but we visited there today and enjoyed shopping!  I've been impatient to visit DIDDI  Their accessaries are really cute and nice with the casual clothes.  DIDDI: http://diddidesignjapan.com/Undersidor/start.html    International Bazaar will be until tomorrow, November 6.  10:00~16:00. 東京アメリカンクラブにて毎年行われているInternational Bazaar が開催中です。

今回、出店はせずお客さんとして遊びに行きました。お目当てはコレ！ 　スウェーデンから参加しているアクセサリー小物のお店。

I feel the preparation for the Christmas is getting advanced year by year in Japan.  I already found the Christmas Tree made up with the lights in Akasaka. . . Isn't it too early?  Age of anxiety? Maybe.   All of us want to forget about this recession.  But isn't it too hasty?   Well, I really hope everybody in the world wll be able to have a happy Christmas this year.
