The ASHURA is exhibited at Tokyo National Museum 'Heiseikan' in Ueno Park, until June 7th.  We saw the documentary TV program, which was so impressive,  focused on people who took part in transportation of this ASHURA statue -- for those who were concerned, the job must have been a great pressure.  The transportation was done under the amazingly scrupulous planning.  Unfortunately, we couldn't see how the ASHURA was wrapped.--- personally this is what we wanted to see.  Anyway, we really enjoyed the program, but it will be nice to visit the Museum and meet the ASHURA!!  Here is the info:http://www.tnm.go.jp/en/servlet/Con?pageId=A01&processId=02&event_id=6113

6月7日（日）まで東京国立博物館にて　国宝　阿修羅展が開催されています。

先日、NHKでこの阿修羅像の輸送に関わる方々のドキュメンタリーを放送していました。

担当されてる方々は想像を絶するプレッシャーなのでしょう。

緻密な準備、計画のもと、輸送大作戦

肝心の梱包方法は機密事項？なのかカメラをシャットアウト。（う～ん　そこが見たいのだか・・・）

現物の阿修羅像も見に行きたいですが、この番組。非常に楽しく拝見しました。

We have introduced this Tansu before.  Our restoration is in progress; but since there are too many drawers, we need a lot of patience.  We cover the moth-eaten spots one by one, sandpaper the surface once to get rid of the stains, and again until it becomes smooth, , , we need some more time to start the final step.

以前、ブログで紹介した薬箪笥。　少しずつですが、レストア進行中。　しかし、薬箪笥故に、抽斗の数がご覧のとおり・・・・・。

虫食いの部分は埋め、一つずつ、サンドペーパーをかけ、汚れを落とし、表面を平滑にし、最終仕上げの段階まであと少し。　暇を見つけては、お店の前に腰かけてコツコツと作業をしています。

It is hard, but actually we enjoy the procedure.  Sometimes  you will find us in front of our shop, squatting down and working on this Tansu.  Then please please say hello!

Please look at my baby beans!  How adorable, they are growing so fast!  They are my daily pleasure.  This year we are expecting a good harvest.  Deep fry without any coating and taste them with mayonnaise --- it's Delicious!

グングン成長しています！　私のお豆　　あちこちから可愛らしい芽が出てきました。毎朝これを見るのが日課！　昨年は種を蒔くのが少し遅れ、イマイチの出来だったので

今年は期待大   ジャッと素揚げにするか、マヨネーズをちびっと付けて食べるか、　あ～今から楽しみ楽しみ

This is an Japanee acorn (Donguri) my master of ceremics gave to me.  We don't eat donguri, we will transplant it to a larger garden when it grows more.  I am looking forward to show it to my master soon, oh, and have to finish my pieces!

こちらは、陶芸の先生のお庭から拾ってきたドングリ。ちっちゃい芽が出てきました。

勿論、これは食べるためではありませんよ。　念のため・・・・・。　もう少し育てたら広い庭に移し替える予定。　

先生！　あのドングリですよ～。　近日中に伺いますね～。

途中でストップしている作品仕上げにいきます。

We hurried our craftsman to finish this Small Step Tansu.  We are very happy to introduce you this beautiful Tansu.  Especially, we love the grain of the sliding doors.  And it would be very convenient to put anywhere because of its small size. 

The second photo is Keyaki Merchant Chest.  This is also not too big, but actually we think it is very well balanced design.  It has 11 drawers, which accomodates many items, especially the top drawers are perfect for CDs!!

只今、到着しました。出来たてホヤホヤ　（笑）

明日は祭日ですが、当店頑張って営業しますので職人さんに無理を言って超特急で持ってきてもらいました。

欅の階段箪笥　高さ146ｃｍ　幅92ｃｍ　奥行58ｃｍ　民家解体に伴い建物から切り離してきました。その結果、ステップ部分は58ｃｍ程・・・・。と狭くなっています。

正確に言うと一番下のステップが59ｃｍ　一番上が57ｃｍ。ビミョーに上にいくほど細くなっています。引戸の木目もキレイ！　狭小スペースにも対応できますョ！

もう一点、欅の帳場箪笥。

こちらのサイズは、高さ88ｃｍ　幅94ｃｍ　奥行39ｃｍ

抽斗が11杯あり、相当収納が出来そう。因みに一番上の抽斗はＣＤ，ＤＶＤなどピッタリ収まります。（参考情報）

さて、このゴールデンウイークを使い、散らかった家財道具一気に片付けてしまいましょうか！

This is my BIG mistake...

I was so happy to get this cute cat and came back to the shop with smile. BUT I drop it on the floor, Yes, I broke it

I collected all of the material and repaired it. she is sitting by me now.

'Be careful!!' she warns me everyday.

不覚でした・・・・。　　

こんな可愛いい招き猫を見つけ、意気揚揚と帰宅。ちょっとお店の床に置いた瞬間、嫌～な音が・・・・・。　やってしまいました・・・・　無残に砕けてしまい・・・・

破片を拾い集め、接着剤で修復するも後の祭り・・・・・・。

それでもあきらめきれず、そばに置いています。戒めの為に・・・・・。

ＯＫＵＲＡ　ＯＲＩＥＮＴＡＬ　ＡＲＴ

Japanese government encourages "Local Production for Local Consumption ," which is nice.  Here I am proud to introduce my baby beans ---  a good example of LPLC ??  Fortunately, we have a lot of sunshine and fine breeze on our terrace.  This is a bud of green bean just sprouted up.  It will grow well and produce a considerable amount of beans even more than we can eat. We also grow many kinds of herbs and bitter cucumbers!!  It's just fun!!

小さな楽しみ！　自宅のテラスで育ってます　　日当たり、風通しが良いせいか非常に育ちがヨロシイのです。これこそ地産地消！　（世間では家庭菜園ともいいますけど・・・）

すでにこのようにインゲンの芽が出てきました。　こんな場所でも食べきれないほど育つんですよ。食べきれない分は友人におすそ分け！　麻布のインゲン結構イケますよ！！　その他、ハーブ多数、日よけも兼ねてゴーヤも収穫予定！　あ～楽しい（笑）

At last, I got my own sewing box I had wanted so long!  It's very finely coated, convenient small size, and there is a small space for the pincushion.  I enjoyed putting my scraps of cloth (it's my secret little collection) in it; I also bought a tiny  bell to attach the scissors.  For me, it's a luxury time. It's so good to have time for your little pleasure.  So far, I've got many clothes to be mended, but I'm dreaming of making a fantastic, , , something in near future!!

念願かなって自分用の針箱購入。塗りも綺麗だし、小さめで針山を入れる箱も入ってる

早速買ってきた可愛い鈴をはさみにつけたり、気に入った布を入れてみました。

なんだかこういうちょっとした幸せっていいですよね。

今のところ修繕ばかりで何か作るわけではないのですが、いずれ何かを・・・、と夢見てしまうのでした
