Tokyo is a megapolis, but we can find greens much more than we expected.  There are still many big trees surviving here and there.  Azabu-Nagasaka, just a block away from us, is one of the precious residential areas with lots of greens  With many big trees in the gardens of elegant mansions still remain standing, the air here is cooler than the other areas in summer time.  We would say ' let's go to Karuizawa,' when we take a walk toward Nagasaka-cho.  It is a nice forest bath for us.

東京は大都会でありながら意外にも緑が多い街です。大きな木が残っている箇所が多くみられます。　お店のすぐ裏、麻布永坂町もそのひとつ。　

大きなお屋敷が残っているこの場所は真夏でもここだけ空気がヒンヤリ感じることさえあります。

時々、「軽井沢にお散歩に行こう！」と称してはここに出かけていきます。　　都会で森林浴といったら大袈裟でしょうか

でも、そんな気分になれますよ。

I wrote that Kinkaragetsu Bakery is selling breads and sweets.  But the shop was originally started as a Vegetarian Cafe, called Hinagikukitsune, by a publication company specialized in the books of cooking and sweets for the professionals.  Now we can find a nice couple who work together deligently and they explain us about their food very kindly.  So they also sell the vegetarian lunch box. They used 16 different vegetables!  And 3 different rice!!!  We appreciated the taste of each ingredient.  We can hardly wait for the next month!!

と、いうわけで、きんからげつベーカリーで買った6月の香りすし・きつねの酢飯弁当を昼食にいただきました。これまた超具だくさん（なんと16種！）の手間をかけたお弁当！お米だけで、精白米・もち米・古代青米の3種類入っているのです。色々な具を見つけながら、ゆっくり味わって食べました

このきんからげつベーカリー、もともとは「ひなぎくきつね」というベジタリアンカフェで、プロ向けに料理や菓子の専門書を送り出す出版社がオープンしたそうですが、今はなんとなく個人でなさっているように見えます。素敵なご夫婦が仲良く行ったり来たり、食べ物の説明も懇切丁寧にして下さいました。

毎月月末になると、お弁当が食べたくて、ソワソワしてしまいそうです

私の麻布産インゲンも無農薬だし・・・、使ってもらおうかな？？ムフフ

This shop is called, "Kinkaragetsu Bakery."  They only open from (kara) Friday(Kin youbi) to Monday(Getsu youbi) on the last week of the month.   This lovely bakery is located very close to our shop, and they sell breads and sweets made of 100% domestic flours.  There is a space for sitting as a Cafe, and it's very small but very attractive.  The owners are devoting a lot of time and energy to produce each item.  Everything is delicious!!

お店の裏にこんな可愛いお店がひっそりと営業しています。　国産の小麦全粒粉１００％で作るパンとお菓子のお店です。　なんと月末の金曜日～月曜日しか営業していないので　名前は「きんからげつベーカリー」。

一応、店内はカフェになっているのですが、非常に小さく、可愛らしいお店。手間暇かけたケーキやパンはどれも滋味があり、美味しいカラダにいい！と思うとますます美味しくいただけます！

きんからげつベーカリー

These pylons were abruptly placed just recently.  Indeed, this slope was very dangerous and was in the bad situation.  Actually, there was a horrible accident a few months ago.  Many drivers parked their vehicles along this widing slope, which blocked the other driver's sight.  Some taxi drivers were terrible that they not only parked their car but also they used this place as a restroom.  Anyway, we guess the police finally managed the matter. 

お店の前の道路にある日突然パイロンが設置されました　

この場所は、日常的に大型トラックの休憩場所だったり、タクシー運転手が道路をトイレ代わりにしたり、それはヒドイ状況でした。　下りのカーブになっていて見通しが悪く、ついに、自転車に乗った人がタクシーに轢かれるという痛ましい事故が数か月前に起きてしまいました。そのためこのような措置がされたのでしょう。

HOWEVER, can you believe who the hell park like this? 

それでもこんな信じられないような止め方をする人がいます。　　後ろから追突されたらどうするのでしょう・・・・・。

Yes, long, hot & humid summer will come to Tokyo very soon. We will have to say hello to the air conditioner everyday in about 10 days

But it is nice that summer brings us into the vacation mood

Isn't it a nice arrangement on Imari polychrome plate?  It is done by one of our customers who is living now in Kamakura.  We visited her house yesterday.  She is such a vivid and charming lady, we always enjoy spending time with her.  We could drop by Komachi-dori near Kamakura Station on our way back from her house.  We found refreshing hydrangea on a quiet lane.  Time was floating serenely there. . . .

昨日は、鎌倉のお客様へ納品でした。お伺いするのは今回で2度目。涼しげなアレンジをされていました　

元気いっぱいの素敵なご婦人で、お会いする度に見習わねばっ　と思うのでした。

次の納品まで多少時間の余裕があったので鎌倉の街をしばし散策。　ちょうど紫陽花の季節でしたので小町通りはものすごい人

人ごみを避け、キレイに咲いた紫陽花を見つけ、パチリ      裏通りに入ればゆっくりした時間が流れています・・・・・・。

Tuxedo Rental Shop, Ricky Sarani, is our wonderful neighbor, located  next to our building,  This unique and special shop has been operated since 1964.  In the begining, the tux rental was for the foreigners who often needed to go formal.  Then as the shop increased its reputation, it has become popular also with the Japanese brides and grooms.  Please drop in Ricky Sarani! 私のお店の隣にタキシードを専門にレンタルしているお店があります。なんと1964年から営業しています。元々はフォーマルパーティーが多い外国人向けにオープンしたようですが、今では、評判を聞きつけご結婚を予定している日本人の若いカップルも多く利用しているようです。

I tried to make a crown by clover flower in Karuizawa. It is the very comfortable time in Karuizawa, so the fresh air made the simple work very special.

I think I could do it in the forest all day long. Yes, I was a little girl at that moment!

My little beans once bloomed and now there are many tiny buds!!  I would be very happy to take the beans to our friends in neghborhood. I can't wait. . .
