Let me introduce my cute friend, Chloe, today.  She is a daughter(?) of our great customer, Mrs.R.

I met her at her apartment, and my husband fell in love with her.....But I'm a very generous person and became a friend with her!!(?)

She it truely cute, friendly...I sometimes feel like being her mother.  Suddenly, she reminds me of my dog who passed away 5 years ago.  It is still difficult to start to live with new family member like cute Chloe, but she encouraged me to have a dog again!!

We will open the showroom near Mt. Fuji.  We hope you will enjoy it with the comfortable wind from Lake Yamanaka.

We will bring in the items we usually cannot display in the shop. Most of the items can be purchased there.

小さい切溜（職人技が冴えてます）、欅玉杢重箱（程良く重厚感）、朱漆胡桃脚付盆（脚が可愛い）、伊万里染付大鉢（飾っても使ってもいい感じ）、瀬戸印判石鹸箱（ありそうで無いアイテム）、有田焼印判皿（普段使いにピッタリ）、招き猫（悪霊退散）、庄内欅小箪笥（細かなモノをお片付け）、桐観音箪笥（ゴツイ金具）、テレビ用ローボード（絶妙なバランス）等々　続々入荷いたしました。

We found a poster which urges the public to save energy at Minato ward office today.  It is very good design and decided to use it for the shop.  We used to use many bulbs on 'Andon' paper lamps, but now refrain from using them.  However, we found again that the Andon is very attractive in the dark space, and we feel relaxed to see the light through Washi(rice) paper

We didn't change the name of our shop, but I just want to try to hang a nice 'Kanban' at the entrance. 

It matches old Japanese shop well !!  The writing is 'Tsuta no Yu'.   It was a signboard for a public bath somewhere.

I don't know where it is from, but I'm sure the place should have been very nice and had a good atmosphere.

There are collectors of 'Kanban' who love shiny and colorful ones, but I find this Kanban very special, because the design is very simple yet the quality is so high.

This handsome man is the doll for 'Boy's day (May 5th)' called 'Taisho'. 　He is a symbol of 'Strength & Bravery'.   We need the man who has authentic leadership in Japan...

剛毅果断。 勇猛果敢。

We are so happy to inform you the arrival of Choba Tansu/Merchant Chest with the glass cabinet.  It is a quite rare item, and difficult to find.  The glass is original and rippled as it shows its age ... very elegant

You will enjoy displaying your collection in the glass cabinet and keeping cutlery sets or table fabric in the drawers.  Don't miss this functional piece!!

探し続けてはや数年。　ようやく見つけたゆらゆらガラス付き帳場箪笥。帳場箪笥という名前が付いていますが、トップがガラスなので見せる収納として大活躍。　下段の引出は浅くてテーブルリネンや、カトラリーが取りだしやすい絶妙なサイズ。　ガラス戸棚には2段の棚板が設置してありますが、お好みの高さ・枚数に仕立て直し可！

If you are the fan of our interior decorating page, you would know about the coffee table which was made with 'Kurado' (old Japanese warehouse door).  It has very strong taste and is always a main feature in the lounge room.

We always ask to make the table to the iron maker who makes the best iron frame and legs for 'Kurado' . He has a nice taste and his quality of work is fantastic, and he can make the surface of the iron legs or frames look very nice with the old iron of the Japanese antique doors 　　　He checks the balance and the strength of the iron frame for very heavy 'Kurado'.  We ordered him many times and finally we found what is the best for Antiques However, the high quality- iron frame and legs are too heavy to move, and we asked him to make the legs separately.  Please see the photos, it should be very interesting to see how we made the wonderful 'Kurado' table and you will see our efforts to make the best one for our customers!!
