Butterfly Chair?! / バタフライチェア？？
Although my job is Japanese antique dealer, I like chairs
As you know Japanese life style is based on sitting on the floor generally. ..It is very diffucult to find VERY Japanese chair. I'm so happy to introduce the chairs with much of Japanese taste. I don't know where they are from , but I'm sure they are custom-made because of the 'Kamon' (family crest). You will see 'Makie' picture of ’Sakura' cherry blossoms and ’Hagi' bush clover and it means they can be used any time of the year
The shape is just like real butterfly, so we call it butterfly chair!!
They look very hard to sit, but it's very comfortable.

黒漆に桜と萩の蒔絵に家紋入り。竹で編んである部分がとても繊細で、椅子というより美術品とに近い感じ。そして、この形、蝶々のよう・・・。これぞ本当の（？！）バタフライチェア！
