We found an interesting item again ----very steep winding staircase.  Yes, it should have been designed for a very small space.  But it's really fun to imagine how it was used, , , maybe, it was stairs to the secret basement of Ninja house??  For the first time we found it, it was not in good condition, but don't worry!  It was restored very finely by the magical hands of our craftman.  Please come and see it at: 　info@okura-art.com

What's Kanauni?  It is a very nice restaurant, like a hideaway, in Akasaka.  Our winding Kaidan Tansu reminds me of this restaurant, its almost invisible entrance door, narrow steps dawn to the chic dining space, and, oh, delicious moule mussels Ｉ ate there, it was quite a long time ago, though. またまたヘンテコなモノを見つけ出しました・・・・。

スパイラル形状の階段箪笥。狭小住宅における究極のデザイン！

はたしてどんなお宅で使用されていたんでしょうね～。

二階へ上がるためではなく、の地下室へ通じるための階段だったのでは？なんて変なこ

とを想像したりして・・・・。

う～ん。そうであって欲しい！！　そうに違いない！！！

発見したときは、けっして状態が良いといえるよう物ではなかったのですが、当店自慢の

レストア職人の手で見事によみがえりました。

ここは入口が目立たず、地下へもぐっていくとあるかなり怪しいお店です。

松田優作主演　探偵物語に出てきそうな建物。白金という場所にありながらこの一帯だけが昭和にタイムスリップしたかのような・・・・・。

「カルロス濱仲商会」　店主はメキシカンのような風貌！　なんか怪しいぞ？！

実は知り合いのアンティークショップでした。

自宅を改造したり、お店の備品を購入したりと日々お世話になっております。

今までは、所狭しと建具や電笠などが無造作に置かれ、秘密基地の様でしたが、

最近、業務拡張されショップが増設されました。拘りのインテリアをお考えでしたらこちらお店

店主のカルロスさん、チカラが抜けていて大好きです。

某TV番組のコーナーを見ていたら可愛いワンちゃんの紹介でした。

あまりに可愛くてど～しても会いたくなり突撃してみました。

いました！いました！！　なんとも言えない風貌。高齢犬、だけど元気一杯の様子。名前はアッシュちゃん。

お店の方に事情を説明し、しばし一緒に遊ばせていただきました。

苔玉やミニ盆栽を取り扱っていて、狭いスペースでもアイデア次第で楽しい空間を演出できることを実践して見せてくださる事に共感！

私のお店でも植物を使ったディスプレーを・・・・と思っていたので選び方やお手入れの方法をいろいろ教えていただきました。

突然の訪問、それもアッシュちゃん目当てだった私たちに親切におしえてくださったご夫妻、ありがとうございました。

今度は私たちのお店に遊びにきてくださいね。もちろんアッシュちゃんも一緒に！！

130 years after Thomas Edison's epoch-making invention of the light bulb,　I heard that the incandescent light will disappear in very near future. 

I personally love the warmth of the color of incandescent bulbs, and it makes me feel secured… however, it became one of the worst factors of gloval warming because of its white heat and much energy consumption.  Also it is said to be inconvinient because of its short-lifeness. So incondescent light is giving its place to LED light and fluorescent light. 

While I knew we need to make changes for the conservation, I wonder if we can feel the same warmth from the cold color of LED light.  Anyhow, we are replacing  the bulbs in our shop with fluorescent bulbs.  And we already noticed that the room temperature has dropped. 

For the future generation, I think only we can do is to keep at it, little by little.

エジソンが電球を実用化して約130年、時代は変わりいよいよ白熱灯は無くなるとのこと。

温かみがあり部屋の雰囲気が良くなり私は大好きだったのですが・・・。

大量の熱を放射し、寿命が短く、効率が悪く、地球温暖化の要因に挙げられていますね。

代わりに蛍光灯やLEDに替わってゆくようです。

あの温かみがだせるのかな～？なんて思いながらも、将来のことを考えれば変革も必要なのでしょうね。

ささやかなことですが、お店で使用するバルブも電球型蛍光灯バルブに変更しています。確かに室内の温度は以前より下がりました。

出来ることからコツコツと！

”Ichigo-Ichie”　is one of the most beautiful expressions in Japanese; meaning, " only once in your lifetime."　 A happy thing as an antique shop staff is to deal with 'only one item in the world.'  Recently we noticed that we often receive the inquiries from customers on the same item almost at the same time.  So we began to wonder, why our customers want the same item, which has been here for a long while?  We even thought of some mysterious energy working around us, or such an energy sent forth from those very items. . .

Meanwhile, we would like to make sure and would like you to understand that we've worked on the first come first serve basis.  When we don't hear from the first customer for a certain period ( please refer to our sales agreement section in the order form,) we would pass the item into the second customer.

Please believe in your intuition when you feel "I found it!"  It is the only one in your life.

なぜでしょうか・・・・。皆さん同時期に同一商品が欲しくなってしまうのですね。

その「モノ」からなんらかのエネルギーが発信されているのか？と変な事を考えたりします。

基本的に最初にお声をかけていただいた方にお譲りしていますが、「興味があります」といったきりご連絡がないと次に待っている方にご迷惑がかかりますので、一定期間を過ぎたら次の方へ御案内しています。

アンティークは一点モノ！　残念ながらまったく同じものを探すことは不可能・・・・・。
