ASHURA, the National Treasure / 国宝 阿修羅
The ASHURA is exhibited at Tokyo National Museum 'Heiseikan' in Ueno Park, until June 7th. We saw the documentary TV program, which was so impressive, focused on people who took part in transportation of this ASHURA statue -- for those who were concerned, the job must have been a great pressure. The transportation was done under the amazingly scrupulous planning. Unfortunately, we couldn't see how the ASHURA was wrapped.--- personally this is what we wanted to see. 6月7日（日）まで東京国立博物館にて 国宝 阿修羅展が開催されています。
先日、NHKでこの阿修羅像の輸送に関わる方々のドキュメンタリーを放送していました。
担当されてる方々は想像を絶するプレッシャーなのでしょう。
緻密な準備、計画のもと、輸送大作戦
肝心の梱包方法は機密事項？なのかカメラをシャットアウト。（う～ん そこが見たいのだか・・・）
現物の阿修羅像も見に行きたいですが、この番組。非常に楽しく拝見しました。

奈良興福寺の仏像展示は、前回、平成８年だったと思いますが、東京国立博物館であり見に行きましたが、阿修羅像は展示されなかったようです。
今回は阿修羅をはじめ八部衆・十大弟子がそろったことになりますね。
阿修羅の様に三面六臂の仏像の輸送には、かなりの苦労があったことでしょう。
