Old Edo Maps / 江戸地図 古地図
It is very fun to look at the old Edo ( old Tokyo) maps. We can find the streets excactly same as those of today, or the areas totally different. As for the Azabu area, it is easy to locate today's points in the old map. There were many manshions of feudal lords in Azabu area, and the town plan has not been chaged a lot. Azabu-juban, Ichinohashi, Roppongi intersection, Zojo-ji Temple, etc., it is exciting to imagine the old days as we find the names and points familiar to us. We put stickers to indicate the major points in Tokyo on the Big Edo Map in our shop. If you are interestend in, please come and see it!!

古地図（江戸地図）を眺めていると結構楽しいですよ。 現在の地形（道路）がほとんど一緒だったり、まったく違っていたりと・・・・。
私のお店がある麻布界隈はお屋敷が多かったせいか今でも地形の名残がありわかりやすかったりします。
麻布十番、一の橋、六本木交差点、増上寺あたりはよ～くわかります。 お店で販売している江戸地図には現在の位置がわかるように目印を張り付けています。皆さん興味津々
