Today is the 50th Anniversary of Tokyo Tower. 

Because our place is so close that we usually don't pay any special attention on the Tower, except the night when we saw 'the skewered dumpling on the Tower' ( please refer to our former blog entry.)

Numerous events and special illuminations have been arranged for the Anniversary.  And finally today, the excitement is culminated, together with the busy time at the end of the year, we have a heavy traffic around here. 

This shot was taken from the roof top of our shop.  It was a fine afternoon, totally without a cloud.  So nice to have a sun bathe.  It's also nice time to look it over again --- the Tower seemed to be refreshed with the pure blue sky.

今日で東京タワーが50周年だそうです。

正直なところ毎日見ていると感動とかないんです・・・・・。　

月見団子になったときは別ですけど（詳しくはBlogをさかのぼってご確認ください）

ここ最近は50周年ということでなんだか頑張っちゃっているようで、イベントやらイルミネーションやら忙しそうです

今日は特に気合が入っているようで周辺道路は大渋滞

クリスマス前の祭日と重なりそれはもう大変な騒ぎ・・・・・。

この画像は今日のお昼頃お店を抜け出し撮影しました。

風もなく、雲ひとつない晴天でしたので屋上にあがって日向ぼっこを兼ねてパチリ！！

東京タワーの周りだけ空が広～く抜けてます。

改めてみるとなんだか新鮮に見えました。

There is a Shinto Shrine, Kainan-Jinja, near the Misaki fishing port, in the tip of Miura Peninsula. 

The shrine was built in 866, enshrined Sukemitsu Fujiwara, who had subjugated the pirates in Boso area.

In the precincts of the shrine, we can find the big sacred tree, which is thought to be planted by Yoritomo Minamoto, the 1st Shogun of Kamakura era.

We were so happy that we fund our favorite " Otafuku " on the ceiling of the hall of worship.  Not only Otafuku, but also many other beautiful things are drawn in the ceiling picture frames.

Caution : don't get a crick in your neck!! like me . . .

三浦海岸の突端、三崎漁港のすぐそばに、海南神社というところがあります。866年に、房総の海賊を平定した藤原資盈が祀られたことに始るといわれています。

境内には、頼朝公手植えとされるイチョウの大木（圧巻！！）が御神木としてデ～ンと鎮座しております。

先日、ドライブの途中、何気なく訪問し拝殿の天井絵に大好きな「お多福」を発見！

ちょっと失礼して撮影をしてきました。

天井一面、数々の絵でうめつくされています。 しばし眺めていたら、

「首っ！首がっ！！　イタタタタタタタタタタッ」

美しくて見とれ過ぎました・・・。（笑）

Because of the economic recession, Maneki-neko is getting more and more popular.  ( Japanese Yahoo News : http://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20081214-00000023-yom-soci )

"Good-luck items,"  such as the sign board of full house, fan shaped silver box, and etc, are popular in our shop, too.  Danger past, God forgotten, , , danger past, cat forgotten ??

Hope to spend a peaceful time, admiring the cute lucky items.

そういえば、当店でも福を呼び寄せるようなアイテムに人気があります。

「大入」の看板だったり、扇型の純銀小箱、

そしてこの「招き猫」。　苦しいときの頼み？いや、神頼みってところでしょうか・・・

まぁ、ジタバタしてもしかたがない、ラッキーアイテムでも愛でながら心豊かに過ごしましょう。

二進も三進もいかず、両手あげてバンザイにはなりませんぬように・・・。

Isn't it nice and gorgeous to celebrate the Christmas, making a table in Japanese style?  Ko-imari polychrome (Iroe) plates, the Vermillion-lacquered candle sticks, salad bowl, Makie lacquered lunch box and the sake-cups, etc.,etc., all of these makes your table so special.  This table is displayed in the window of our shop now.  Please come and see!!

Recently, we tried to find nice small chests.
