Forest Bath in Mid-Tokyo / 都会で森林浴
Tokyo is a megapolis, but we can find greens much more than we expected. There are still many big trees surviving here and there. Azabu-Nagasaka, just a block away from us, is one of the precious residential areas with lots of greens With many big trees in the gardens of elegant mansions still remain standing, the air here is cooler than the other areas in summer time. We would say ' let's go to Karuizawa,' when we take a walk toward Nagasaka-cho. It is a nice forest bath for us.
東京は大都会でありながら意外にも緑が多い街です。大きな木が残っている箇所が多くみられます。 お店のすぐ裏、麻布永坂町もそのひとつ。
大きなお屋敷が残っているこの場所は真夏でもここだけ空気がヒンヤリ感じることさえあります。
時々、「軽井沢にお散歩に行こう！」と称してはここに出かけていきます。 都会で森林浴といったら大袈裟でしょうか
でも、そんな気分になれますよ。
