One of the most important items for women is a mirror stand. As one of the household belongings for a bride, many luxurious mirror stands were produced, made of expensive and high-quality woods, such as paulownia or mulberry.
The vermilion-lacquered one with an oval mirror is shown in the picture, but you can see a wide variety of design. The mainstream height is designed with a focus on Japanese life style, sitting on the floor or Tatami. Yet, we have many customers who apply this Japanese traditional mirror stand into their modern interior. A looking mirror without a stand is also very convenient, a good essence for the decoration of your house.
This doll, called Gosho Ningyo, was originally made to celebrate the birth of a child in Gosho, imperial household. Now, it became easier to buy this doll, which is made of ceramic. The one in the picture is also made of ceramic, and relatively young. Traditionally, this doll was made of wood by coating with Gofun, crushed oyster shell and rice paste. Due to its pretty face and figure, Gosho Ningyo has always gained popularity for a long time.
