Let's celebrate Girls Day with Japanese tradition!

Dscf0046 Have you ever heard of "Hina Matsuri"?

It was originally one of the ancient Japanese events to drive away the evil spirits by putting bad luck into dolls and throw them into the river. Since Edo period, decorating dolls, instead of throwing them into the river, became a standard custom of this event which is held at March 3rd. Now March 3rd is also called as "Girls day" and people decorate Hina dolls for wishing healthy and happy life of girls.

Because the design of dolls has been modernized lately, it is so hard to find Hina dolls which have Japanese-traditional beauty in their faces.

Why don't you take a look and see what exactly stately Hina dolls are?
